For sale, completely ”rotisserie/nut&bolt” restored ‘high-performance’ original C-code Ford Mustang Convertible from 1966, built to cope with the high horsepower drivetrain, though still driving comfortably for daily usage with superb steering characteristics. Adhere we aim to retain the great iconic classic look of the classic mustang. This mustang is sporting the strongest small block you could find in the market, the famous and desired FORD Performance SVO small block. The 351Cu small block Windsor has been further stroked to 408Cu and is coupled with a 4 speed AOD Ford automatic (with overdrive). The powertrain and chassis design has been further upgraded to properly handle the 425Hp+ power . So this package provides big-block power delivered by a lightweight small-block package!. Best of both worlds.


If you are looking for a solid, fully restored Mustang Convertible (chassis-up/Nut&Bolt restored), with lots of drivable horsepower and superb steering characteristics this is your classic.


The car was completely restored in 2018, by using the best components and parts you could find in the market. Paintwork is made up of 3 layers of base-coat/clear coat, then polished and the paintwork just looks superb.  All chrome work has been renewed or restored in new condition. All the technical components on this mustang, including engine/transmission/entire drivetrain/axles/cooling/suspension/etc. are new. The car is originally from the dry state Florida whereas the body was the perfect candidate for a full restoration, wereas the car retained its original bodywork (all stamps still present in sheet metal). Doortags/VIN# are all present and ”matching-numers’. Car has just driven 1260 miles since complete restoration.


The interior has been completely renewed and the dash is now equipped with a beautiful black leather Lacarra steering wheel, modern Pioneer radio with USB and equipped to the optional integrated 2 speaker footpanels. The mustang features the electrically operated new installed top.

The nut&bolt rotisserie restoration is professionally executed, chassis fully blasted and then rebuilt from the rotisserie, whereas the mustang received many upgrades to handle the power of the stronger engine (driveline can handle at least 1000HP+), including the strongest 9 Inch Ford rear axle with locking differential and the chassis received the sub-frame connectors from CHASSISWORK to enhance the rigidity of full frame. This ‘Stang’ now has a 4-speed overdrive Automatic (AOD) transmission and upgraded BORGESSON power steering and new installed power steering box, resulting is precise steering movements, avoiding the ‘’loose’’ steering feeling that the standard mustangs offer. This Mustang now drives like a modern car, steering tightly and comfortably.

During the restoration, no costs were spared, you can also see this from the long list of expensive parts that have been used to build this powerful ride. A lot of attention was paid to the details during the restoration (see also the high quality of nuts/bolts that have been used).

During restoration 20.000+ Euro has been invested in the new parts, then the costs for painting and buying the base car has not even been considered. For the price we ask for this full restored classic powerful mustang you could not find a similar car on the market, building such a car yourself would cost you at least double the money.

– New ”BUILD” 408Cu (6.7L) V-8 Windsor small block, 425+HP, engine equipped with best components you could find, allowing block to run at very high revs (6500 RPM)

– Custom CERAMIC COATED HEDMAN Long Tube headers with 3 inch basket handle bended dual ”turn-down” exhaust system coupled to 2x Flowmaster Series 44 exhaust dampers

– Suspension upgrade: Shelby drop with heavy duty coils and stronger 1 inch front sway bar

– New ”soft-compound” tires for 225/50/16, rear wide 245/45/16 on new 16 Inch aluminum American Racing Torque Thrust D rims

– Welded in CHASSISWORKS Subframe connectors (make the chassis rigid)

– Front power brakes with 4 piston brake calipers on discbrakes from SSBS brakes

– New front lower and upper control arms, new 4-leaf mid-eye rear suspension springs

– Pioneer USB radio with 2x Kenwood boxes integrated into foot panel.

– Full new custom made instrument panel with RPM meter, Speedometer, FUEL, TEMP, VOLT, BATTERY, OILPRESSURE.

– New front windshield and sideglass windows

– Black cover convertible top (tonneau cover)

– Power brakes with electrically driven vacuum (not connected to manifold due to low engine vaccuum)

In short, this restored performance-oriented original mustang Convertible drives superb, is very powerful and comfortable to drive at the same time, with the high performance engine producing a fantastic ”crying’ sound (but certainly not too loud to cruise around town)

Also a solid investment, as the prices of this model will continue to rise in the coming years.
