Now, Mister-Mustang is offering this very cool full restored and upgraded 1965 Ford Mustang Fastback – A code – Restomod performance oriented classic car in stunning Rangoon red body colour with matching 2-tone Red/White interior. This is a very special muscle car and the numerous upgrades installed on the car provide this classic with the extra spark!
Not only the looks is outstanding, though this muscle car has been upgraded to the next level, by installing a full new build performance engine, using the original block, offering 350+ HP, mated to a close ratio Tremec T5 – 5 speed manual transmission with long 5th gear overdrive, making highway cruising very comfortable (1900 rpm at 120 km/u).
This 5R09A139341 original fastback, has spend its life in Arizona, as such the body is very solid and was the perfect candidate to perform a full restoration.
This mustang was restored a few years ago and received a full new paintjob, new interior (seats/carpet/dashboard/doorpanels etc). All chrome work has been renewed or re-chromed to standard specifications and the car received all new (windshield) rubbers.
The engine received a 347CU stroker kit, topped off with TrickFlow aluminum heads, full hydraulic roller lifters with compcams performance camshaft and aluminum CNC rockers. This engines screams to the higher RPM’s, while the mustang is still easy and comfortable to operate and to cruise around.
The full driveline and suspension are all rebuild back a few years ago and build to handle the extra horsepower. In addition, the powertrain received a fresh new 5 Speed T5 tremec manual transmission, CURRIE new build 9 inch rear axle with stronger inner axle shafts and received a full trac-loc differential, providing this classic muscle car with the sportier drive characteristics, while maintaining good street drivability.
All engine works included many upgrades, but not limited to:
-Edelbrock 650cfm 4 barrel carburator with electric choke
-TrickFlow aluminum performance cylinderheads
-Edelbrock AIR-GAP 7521 aluminum intake manifold
-Performance camshaft and roller lifters
-Heavier vibration damper crankshaft
-Full black edition serpentine pulley belt-drive system with high rpm black billet polished -alternator, including powersteering and airco-pump
-MSD ‘’big’’ rotator Pro Billet Distributor (electronic ignition)
-MSD 6AL ignition box
-MSG BLASTER high voltage coil
-Shelby style GT350 high capacity oil pan
-Ford Performance 8mm silicone spark plug wires
-Aluminum Ford Racing Valve Covers
-CERAMIC coated JBA 1650SJS headers, mated to a full customer build 2.5inch mandrel bended exhaust with dual MAGNAFLOW stainless steel performance mufflers with 2x 2.5inch turndown tips at rear of the vehicle
Remaining upgrades to this mustang includes, but not limited to:
-Suspension upgraded with front TCP solid steel and full adjustable upper control arms and 4x KYB performance shock absorbers all around.
-Power steering
-TCP subframe connector with H reinfored brace (to stiffen the chassis)
-1 inch thick front swaybar in front + TCP sway/rollbar installed on rear axle
-GT350 integrated hoodscoop
-GT Foglamps
-White LeMans striping (decals, so could be removed if required)
-PAINTLESS Performance full new wiring harness installed in the car, including relocating battery into the trunk
-Excellent stopping power: front SBS FORCE10 big brake disc brakes and rear SBS disc brakes with modern 2 chamber brake master cylinder. Rear disc brakes also features integrated custom build handbrake (cable operated)
-Cable operated transmission clutch for precise and light pedal pressure feeling
-Airconditioning unit interior (not connected currently)
-Center console interior
-New Bluetooth Customsound USA-740 vintage style modern radio
-New Vintage USA Detroit full electronic instrument panel (incl tachometer with KM/U speedometer)
-Shelby 5 speed shift knob and shift mechanism
-Foldable rear seat with latch to trunk
To make this car a real showpiece, we topped the car of by installing new wide 16 inch aluminum STYLED STEEL WHEELS from Vintage Wheels (original mustang wheels) with new GOOD-YEAR tyres (front 225/50R16, rear 225/50R16)
This car has been completely restored(from ground-up/inside-out). Literally every part, nuts&bolts, windows, chrome, rubbers, electronics, wiring, top, all interior(incl. seats, dashboard, doorpanels) and exterior parts are all new and/or fully restored to original condition.
All works, usage of materials and assembly was done the right way so that the restoration of this car would last a lifetime. The build costs was well over 40K Euro, not even considering the purchase value of the car itself!
The car has been technically completely checked, everything works properly and you can enjoy it for a long time without any worries!
Due to all the upgrades to the car, this classic drives like a modern car, with very good driving characteristics, very comfortable, tight steering and combined with a lot of power. Just such a fun to drive and puts a smile on everybody’s face!
We deliver this ‘’Stang’’ with a Dutch registration, and also offer the option of delivering the car to your home with any desired European registration plate (DE/BE/other). Feel free to come and have a look, the car shows really nice and is a very solid investment for the future.
