1965 Ford Mustang Fastback GT 289Cu – V8 – Automatic – Full concours restoration

If you like a black polished mirror-painted fastback this is your pony!

This fastback is a showcar and the paint is very nice and polished to absolute mirror-finished quality. Restoration completed a couple of years ago and she still drives like new.

During restoration work all metal work and assembly was done the right way so that the restoration of this car would last a lifetime. Car retained it's original body and interior colour and VIN-number and doortag numbers are all matching.

Lots of upgrades fitted to enhance it's power and riding characteristics:

–  4 barrel Edelbrock 600Cfm carburatoron 4 barrel aluminium Edelbrock Performer polished intake

-  Ignition upgraded to billet distributor Petronix with 8 mm silicone plug wires, ignition received a rev limiter by seperate ECU

- MARCH billet pulleys

– Aluminium performance coolant radiator with billet overflow canister

– Original kayes-haynes 4 piston disc brakes in front

-  All number matching(vin# and doortag)

- Polished alternator and nice chrome valve covers and air filter

– New American Racing Torq Thrust D 15inch wide rims with fresh classic BF Goodridge White Letter T/A radial tires

- Long tube headers and dual exhaust system (nice sound but not too loud)

- Modern classic Retrosound FM Radio with good modern speakers

- Wooden instrument panel inlays with Center console

- Rally pac instrument cluster on steering column (RPM and clock)

- Wooden 15 inch Steering Wheel

This Fastback has a been rebuild by using the original 289Cu- V8 engine and Automatic C-4 transmission.

This car is garaged in our shop, The Netherlands, running on Dutch license plates and could be delivered on any European license plate (incl. H-kennzeichen). Please come to see the car to witness the extreme high quality level of the build.
