1965 Ford Mustang Fastback 289Cu – V8 – A code – Full concours restoration

We are currently performing a full rotisserie restoration on this unique 1965 Ford Mustang Fastback GT – A code classic car.

The restoration and rebuild will be executed to absolute highest quality standards(concourse) using all 100% new original number matching Ford parts(FOMOCO). All numbers, like VIN#, doortags and registration papers are all matching. This new build will receive all the options that came out of the factory in 1965, like Powered Disk brakes, Power Steering, Wooden Deluxe steering wheel, console in the interior fully equiped with the upgraded PONY edition (seats and doorpanels) in original black colouring.

The car has been restored to absolute identical standards at the time the car came out of the factory, including quality approval stamps/signs/decals etc. and an incredible amount of attention and detail has been placed in this car, you will be astonished once you see the car, guaranteed!! Budget to restore such beauty will exceed well over the current asking price,.

This Fastback GT has a new rebuild original 289Cu-4V V8 engine, mated to the optional 4-speed toploader (manual transmission). This car has been completely rotisserie restored(from ground-up/inside-out) and detailed and it runs and drives great. Literally every part, including but not limited to nuts&bolts, windows, chrome, rubbers, electronics, wiring, all interior(incl. seats, dashboard, doorpanels) and exterior parts are all BRAND new and/or fully restored to original condition.  The body is straight as an arrow and the paint and the undercarriage looks amazing and are all in pristine condition. The body has been sanded down to bare metal, epoxy primed and received a base/clear coated paint. The paint has been applied in 5(!) layers and shows extremely deep and slick.

Running on new MAGNUM 500 Vintage STYLED STEEL wheels(15 inch American Racing wheels) with white letter walled BF Goodrich RADIAL T/A tires, the car needs absolutely nothing and is a full showcar in concourse state.
All metal work and assembly was done the right way so that the restoration of this car would last a lifetime. 65 Mustang Fastbacks with GT and PONY Interior option packages are second only to Mustangs Shelbys in desirability and value today and an guaranteed solid investment.

This car is currently in the restoration shop, The Netherlands, running on Dutch license plates and could be delivered on any European license plate (incl. H-kennzeichen). Please come to see the car to witness the extreme high quality level of the build.

(PS: if you wish to have an automatic transmission in this mustang, we are able to install a C4 automatic gearbox, though then the car is not meeting the specs at the time the car left the factory bak in 65!)
