1965 Ford Mustang Convertible 289Cu - Automatic - Full rotisserie restored D code mustang

If you are looking for a solid, fully restored original 1965 red D-code Ford Mustang Convertible, good handling and driving car with a strong revised 289Cu V8 engine and automatic transmission, this is your classic.

A ‘’D’’ code car is rare and was the transition model from 64.5 model to 1965 year, mounting the strongest version of the 289Cu. (230HP).
This classic has been FULLY rotisserie restored and repainted in the original X coded paintcolour. VIN#/doortag# and other numbers are all correct and number matching.
You will be amazed of the build quality, especially the bottom of the car and it shows the high quality level of the restoration. This mustang is equipped with a revised original 289Cu V8, mated to a C4 automatic transmission, whereas the engine has been upgraded and equipped with a FOMOCO original 4 barrel intake, topped of with the 600CFM 4 barrel HOLLEY carburetor with automatic choke.
The car is equipped with “full length” ceramic coated headers and stainless steel dual exhaust system (power now around 265HP).

Furthermore, this classic has the popular factory options, such as a PONY door panels, Foglamps in the grille, dual 2.5 inch exhaust, wooden GT steering wheel, and a center console.
